The ranking, entitled 'The 50 Most Influential Education Brands on LinkedIn’, considered LinkedIn’s 400 million users worldwide and only contemplated educational institutions.

Fundação Getulio Vargas was voted among the top 10 leading HEIs (Higher Education Institutions) in the world in a ranking published by LinkedIn on Wednesday, February 3. FGV was the only Brazilian institution in the list, ahead of institutions such as Harvard Business School (USA), MIT - Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA) and INSEAD (France).

The ranking, entitled 'The 50 Most Influential Education Brands on LinkedIn’, considered LinkedIn’s 400 million users worldwide and only contemplated educational institutions. The study was based on their LinkedIn Content Marketing Scores, which are calculated by measuring the ratio between the total target audience and the unique users that engaged with the content.  The Content Marketing Score evaluates all content-based activities on the LinkedIn platform, including Company Page updates, employee shares, LinkedIn Sponsored Updates, activities in LinkedIn Groups and Influencer and employee posts through the LinkedIn Publishing Platform.

According to LinkedIn, the contemplated brands share the following traits: 95% of them have employees who share content created by others; 90% have employees who post their own content; 75% invest in LinkedIn Sponsored Updates and 100% update their respective Company Pages.

FGV has a strong presence on the social network, with over 365,000 University Page followers and 135,000 Company Page followers; with over 13,000 interactions per month on average, including clicks, likes, comments and shares, and nearly 2 million content impressions per month. With pages in English and Portuguese, the FGV reaches, on average, more than 20,000 unique users per month.
