    In recent decades, criticisms of the consequences of the so-called "War on Drugs" have emerged across the American continent, putting drug policy in the region at the center of the public security debate.

    What are the results of this "war"?

    In this lecture, Professor Thiago Rodrigues, from FGV's MBA in International Relations, will discuss the main adaptations and alternatives to drug policies in the region.

    FGV's Brazilian School of Public and Business Adminstration (EBAPE) and Escola de Comando e Estado-Maior do Exército will hold a seminar to discuss how governments, the Armed Forces, industry and academia are articulated in the formulation of a defense policy and budget in Germany, Brazil, France and the United States.
     
    The aim of the event is to promote an objective discussion on how to conduct national defense in times of economic crisis, with the participation of relevant members of the Brazilian defense community.
